For the 2017 summer racing season Jackson RC is looking to introduce a value focused class that emphasize competition and not chasing the motor of the week. We seek your feedback on this.

Introducing Jackson Club Spec TC-

We are instituting a hand out motor and spec gearing class for 1/10th TC. Our goal is to have this become our largest weekly racing class. The motors will be tuned, sealed, serial numbered. The number motors are handed out at random each race day and returned the same day.

During pre-race inspection the motors will be checked for tampering and the spec gearing will be ensured.

There are two ways to get on-board with the Club Spec program:

Mode 1 - $45 Season Buy-in
With a season Buy-in you'll have a motor always waiting for you, no matter if you show up or not for our regular racing program. At the end of the season you'll also receive one of the sealed motors that we all used throughout the season.

Mode 2 - $15 Daily Rental
We will have a limited number of rental motors available, so you will need to arrive early to reserve your rental. We hope after your first day of Club Spec racing you'll want to convert your Daily Rental fee into a Season Buy-in.

Finally... If you are to take a motor home, even if by mistake, you will now be the new owner of this motor. This is to prevent tampering with the motor to cause any advantage or disadvantage to yourself and other competitors. To continue participation within the class you must either start again with a Buy-in or Rental.

Thumbs up Spec Racing

Sounds like a great class ! Have you thought of a spec Esc because I think that may become the variable then. Also have you thought of just using that associated motor the Tamiya series is using ?

We thought about it... But that is just more cost. If people are comfortable with 90-100 total then this is possible too. Again.. so be fair it would behave like a rental too.

Do you guys run Nitro? I looked at the website and it said nitro on Sunday but it also looked like it might have been last years schedule?

Thanks

Great idea why not just copy the ets style racing
Same motor and esc. Price does not matter, because we all will be on the same products. Hope many join in
