Cool. Wont be racing. But perhaps could be persuaded to flap jaws on the mic here and there. R

What are the prospective popular classes? I want to build a car or 2 but I don't want to get there and have nobody to run with.

F-1? 1/12th?

Hey guys,

Quick update for the rctech followers. I posted earlier on Facebook that we have officially signed a 6 month lease to use the track from October through March. Casey will be getting the key tomorrow.

With that, our first official open day will be this Saturday, October 1! This will be a cleanup day with a good potential for open practice that afternoon/evening. First race date should be October 8

We are hoping to see F1 and 1/12 thrive this season. F1 seemed to do really well outside this year and we hope to carry that over indoors.

Oh - the popular class is typically USGT. TC is also pretty popular but we want to put an emphasis on other classes to see them grow.

USGT is 21.5 or 25.5?

Forgot to post here last night also, but we are very pleased to announce that Gravity RC will be the spec tire for both TC and USGT classes at 180 Raceway this season!

We will have both options available at $25/set. These are already on their way to us. :tire:

TC Tire:

USGT Tire:
http://www.teamgravityrc.com/store1/...egory=15430106

We also hope to have an update soon on spec 1/12 tires. We are not going to do a spec F1 tire, but I seem to recall the CRC premount being pretty popular at the end of last season, so if you guys want we can look into getting a few sets of those as well. Your feedback is welcomed and appreciated!

First post updated.

Great job guys on keeping the price of tires affordable. 👍

Thanks Al, we hope to run the place half as good as you ran Horsham with your crew up there.

I am do to pick up the keys this evening
And we aim to be at the track at 10am Sat ( tomorrow )
We have a lot to clean up, and will also need some supplies, here is a list in case you all have some of these items

Trash Cans
Trash Bags
Bathroom Cleaning supplies
Bathroom Towels
TP
Push Broom or 2
dust pan
Shop Vac or Vacuum
Floor Buffer ( would be nice in the future too )
Power strips ( we have to use these out of wall outlets )
Fire extinguishers x 3
4 - 5 gallon buckets
10 pounds of sand ( for Lipos in case of fire )
The landlord did reserve the right and plans to spot check us for fire prevention methods.
