Must haves for charging:

2 ports minimum, great for 2s 4s charging or 2s/2s 4s/4s etc.. if you are not running two rides yet good chance you will be soon.

10 Amps @ 14 volts (Amps X volts = watts) = 148 watts, you will need at minumum to charge a 4s pack at 10 amps. Do not be fooled by chargers that say they will do 10 amps for 2S, thats only a 74 watt charger.

This is the beast I use and yes its a bit overkill, but I will never need another charger ever again even if I go to 5th scale and 6S.

This is 40 Amp per channel 1400 Watt charger, expensive but well work it.

This is what I use for tenth scale

2 port 100 watt per port, plenty of juice to charge at 10 amps and its an AC charger.

This would not be good for 4S packs.

Hope that helps.

Track is way to soft to run on it. Snow just melted off of it a couple days ago.

Exclamation Track Still Closed for Maintenance

It will be at least a few weeks before the track will be ready to run on guys. We are pulling the pipe up as soon as the track is dry enough to get on and start the dirt work for the season opener.

Reminder.....
Always keep an eye on the top of the first post of this thread for updates and other information like when the track will be ready to get some practice in on. It is always the most accurate and up to date place to get current information regarding track status and other racing information or changes.

Hey guys... I'm thinking of picking up a new motor for my 1/8th buggy. Should I get the Tekin gen2 1900kv or the 2050kv for the track? Thanks!

As dak and ed said dynamiteand the horizon chargers are pretty hard to beat for the price. My little passport out lasted my so called badazz trakpower dual charger by over a year now. The hitec touch chargers seem to be working well also. But all the passport series chargers are easy to use and bullet proof. Had mine for about 3 years now.
