It's time to start a new thread to combine all the types of racing offered at Debbie's RC World in Chesapeake, Virginia. Located at 1828 South Military Highway, Debbie's offers a 96 x 40 indoor dirt track, a 140 x 60 "smooth" asphalt track with full drag strip. This is forum is to discuss about our racing program that we race on Saturday's. So if you have any complaints or concerns about the race program please do not post them on here please private message me or call the hobby shop and talk to Josh,Brandon or Les. If there is any kind of bashing on this forum you will be asked not to post on here anymore. Let start discussions about racing.

Concerning the growing class of Short Course trucks it may be a good idea to start implementing controlled practice on Saturday mornings for an hour or so before the race starts. Good job on the new thread.

As you can see I using don’t post to this thread, but with Saturdays Drama, I felt like I need to. I am not taking any sides to the drama, I’m just going to state my point of view. Everybody is always saying what we can do to get more people in here. Well let me tell you. First; two grown men acting like children is not the way and during all the excitement no one noticed the father and his two young boys with the new traxxas waiting to run on the track. There is no way they will come and run in the kids’ class, because two fathers that take it too serious. Maybe a few encouraging words towards your kids like Good Job son you will get him next time or good job son but next time etc… But causing a scene in front of others over two kids in a beginner’s class making a few mistakes is not a good impression on the store or the attitudes of those who use the facility on a regular bases. If you believe you kids are better than the others in that class maybe they should move up. Again I’m not taking any sides to this, but only given a point a view from an outsider. I remember the first race on the new indoor dirt track in the area, we had over sixty entries, what’s the current average of entries is been about 16 with some running multiply class. Drama is going to kill it for everybody, not the track, not the store, but the drama between grown adults, who are not getting paid to do it. This is my rant and some may disagree or agree but it’s just my point of view please feel free to comment.

Had a good time with good people was my first time ever racing stadium truck and we need more 2wd sct entries.I have this brand new 22sct 2.0 I'm dying to run. Always good to see new guys come into the hobby .As far as the two fathers both are good guys and what father wouldn't defend their son.It was a close race and both kids wanted to win bad . Sometimes our competitive nature can get the best of us.Let's move forward on a positive note it's cold and plenty more wks of racing ahead of us.
