I had the opportunity to talk with DAK yesterday for 1 1/2 hours on the phone.
About getting us all together, as a club. One of the things he made clear to me, was must RC tracks are run. By the racers for the racers. And he asked me if I ever offered to help Kenny or Bibie run a race, or prep the track. My answer was NO. So, I'm offering now. This Saturday I'm willing to help. Don't know anything about the software. But I'm willing to learn.
Another thing we talked about was the rest of the season. We both don't think there is enough time to turn this year around. But there is enough time to plan an end of the year race. A fun race, that can bring us all together. And end the year on a positive note.
He had some good suggestions and ideas. But he put it on me to come up with something, as I'm there Saturdays & Sundays. Bridging the 2 groups. I do have an idea, and writing it up now. And will post it ASAP. For your consideration.
