Had a nice timing on Sunday with my buddies laying down some laps on the new layout. A really nice change of pace on this layout as you have some of everything. The end of the straight double and up the big hill double in the left corner is a little tricky. Overall the new layout is a lot of fun.

Yeah that section of the track is definitely the most difficult, and keeps the marshals busy if you watch the videos. As more rubber gets on the track, hopefully it won't be so easy for the rear end to wash away. I noticed lap times from this weekend seemed a tad lower on average than they were on Wednesday, so it seems that process has already started!

Thanks for coming out, hope you are able to make it again

Most of my problem was coming in too hot over that first double as I starting to find out you don't need much to make them as one might think. When I took my time and came in smarter then the 2nd higher double was easy to make. Now if I can keep my brain working on that first double things will be awesome.

Default Tires

What seems to be the tire of choice for the new surface?

Yep, definitely need to land on the lander and keep the momentum up for the next uphill double (without losing the rear!)

RC4 transponders, Mimi sells them at the track.

No official schedule yet, but racing is every Wednesday and Saturday. Your best bet is to follow the FB page: https://www.facebook.com/The-Track-i...7260528964053/

If you race it, will be worth it. You can also pick up one used for less $. I think there may be house transponders available. You would have to check ahead of time.

Traction was picking up last night which lead to much cleaner races and less work for the turn marshals. Treaded tires super or ultra softs still were the best option.

Great racing last night all around!

If you can get one for 80 bucks that is cheap. I know when we order AMB transponders in they cost more than 80 dollars.

I still owe you from last year. I need some revenge. I have nightmares about that pass.
