Impacts work great, not sure about the Double D's yet. Just picked up a set, didn't get to try them.

What a great night of racing for week 4 of the points series.. It was great to see some new faces and racers including Pete Martinez and the ever so quick BBQ.

On to the racing. In 4wd short course we witnessed DeShawn's climb up through the C main all the way into the A main. and while hometown hero Ron was showing the field the way in the A main, DeShawn reminded the field that he was there and he is fast becoming a contender. Jay Hood had his hands full with Jason K. and the rest of the field and eventually controlled the runner up spot with his Tekno/Tekin combination.

In 2wd buggy it was all UK as the Schumacher kr of Steve Maizer dominated the A main and cruised in with a convincing victory over a very fast crew of Steve Charles, Barry Goodwin, Tony Feliciti and first time visitor Pete Martinez. And yes, some old dude bumped into the A main right behind BBQ by finishing in the top two of the B main.

Now onto the Wheelers, 17 entries took to the track and once again Steve Maizer showed the field that he means business with a flawless performance in qualifying. in the main it was all Steve M. as the field was in close tow ,with Steve Charles in second, and a variety of fast guys in tow, including once again the old dude actually qualifying for the a main with a surprise first round run.

Great times last night, no tempers and smiles on everyone's faces as the competition was fierce and the driving etiquette was top notch.. let's just say this points series is quite the preview for the Buggy Masters Race...

See everyone next week for the finale of the points series.

Nice write up Dom !! Great night of racing, glad I was finally able to make a Wednesday night ! Ron/Steve you guys have a great thing going on, keep up the momentum !
Awesome seeing my buddy Barry "Handsome" Goodwin !
Josh we had some insane laps, I should have tried a different line, you did a great job closing the door on those corners, at one point I was going to pull a kamikaze move and dive in the corner, glad I didn't, I would have messed up the fun! Both cars need some love, not performing the way they should, can't have them neglected !
Can't wait to race with you guys again !

Oh yeah a great night of racing! 4wd buggy is the most fiercely contested class around. You gotta be fast and clean. Low 16 lap qualifier is no guarantee of the Show anymore. Very fast driving by Barry, Steve, Steve and Ron... And i guess Chuck too... One day I hope to be as good as you guys.
