For the last race of the year we will also be doing a swap meet....so if you have some RC stuff you aren't using bring it with you on that day. That will make a gret opportunity for you to sell, trade, and buy some good RC stuff

Default Legends quiestion

What were the run times you getting with your current rules package? Where there any quality problems with spec motors? Since "The Coliseum" is going to be running oval again, I thought I might try to get a Legend class started using your rules and specs to replace the Losi Mini Late Model/Slider class and was looking for info.

We are going to be going with a different spec motor for legends next year. Not sure what yet, we will be doing some experimentation during the last few race days this season and over the off season. The current 20 turn motor is just too fast for these cars when you use 2s lipos. The original rules were intended for it to be used with a 4cell nimh.

Thanks for info. So I guess it will be sliver cans maybe. I thought it was stick pack nimh for batteries?

I tested a silver can and its still to much power. we will probably go with a 35-45 turn crawler motor. we now run a spec lipo as the cheap nimh packs were dropping dead pretty fast

I was wondering about the nimh packs and their life. What is the lipo pack you are going with if I may ask?
