Thumbs up Clown Shoe Showdown - The Sequel [Charity Race]

Welcome to the Sequel of the Clown Shoe Showdown Charity Race to benefit the Ronald McDonald House.

The race will be held on Saturday May 27th.

Track address: 8826 Olde Scotland Rd Shippensburg, PA 17257

This will be a split event with 10th scale racing on Saturday Morning and 8th scale racing on Saturday Evening.

You have the option to run one session or both sessions so get it on your race calendars now!!

We got Thomas "The Thomas" Kauffman R/C and Ezra Korick on the mic to ensure a fast, smooth, and fun race program.

As always Dog Days will bring the fun, awesome racing, and loads of cool prizes.

There will be awards for top 3 A-main finishers in each class as well as special "Iron Man" awards for those who take on the challenge of racing both sessions.

There will be a food truck on location for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

The entry fees for the race will be a flat $25 per entry so you can race more classes and still have some dough left over to donate to the charity by participating in one of the silent auctions or 50/50 contest.

10th Scale Classes for Saturday AM:
• 10th Scale Sportsman
• 2wd Open Buggy
• 4wd Open Buggy
• 2wd Stadium Truck
• 2wd Short Course Truck
• 4wd Open Mini Truggy

8th Scale classes for Saturday PM:
• 8th Scale Sportsman
• E-Buggy
• 40+ E-Buggy
• E-Truggy
• Nitro Buggy
• Nitro Truggy
• 4wd Open Short Course Truck

We reserve the right to combine any classes of less than 5 entries but score separately to ensure we have enough marshals for the following race and to speed up the race program.

The race program will be two rounds of 5-minute Qual Points qualifiers with 1 drop and a single round of 6-minute lower mains, 8-minute A-mains, and 20-minute nitro A-main.

We reserve the right to adjust the qualifier and/or main times if necessary.

Schedule for each day:
• 7am Pit areas open.
• 8am - 9:30 Timed Practice Sessions
• 9:30 Registration closed / Track Closed
• 9:45 Heat Sheets Posted and Drivers Meeting
• 10am Racing Begins
We estimate that the 8th scale PM session will kick off at 3pm.

Sunday May 28th is reserved if there are any weather-related issues otherwise, we'll run a Sunday Funday race so plan to stay for both days.

While there is plenty of competition to be had at this event, we make it our #1 job to drive home that we are here to have fun, first and foremost.

Let's talk race registration for the Clown Shoe Showdown!

We will have the Dog Days Table set up near the front of the building. You will go here to register for the event.
We will be able to accept Cash (prefered method), Venmo, CashApp, credit card*, and Paypal*.
* $0.75 Processing fees added

We just opened the pre-regration on our website if you wanted to skip the lines.
https://www.dogdaysrc.com/product/Cl...egistration/66
First you will enter your transponder number and select the class you are registering before clicking "Attend".
Add one item for each class you wish to race at the charity event.
Once all classes are added to your cart and all transponder numbers are filled in, proceed to checkout.

You will also be able to order a charity event shirt at the Dog Days Table if you haven't done so already. This will be the final day you can order.

You can also purchase 50/50 tickets at the Dog Days table while you're checking out or anytime throughout the day.

Knock on wood! We're hoping to be able to meet or exceed the amount raised from the last Clown Shoe Showdown race we did.
