Default The Factory RC Raceway (York, Pa)

Welcome to The Factory RC Raceway!

The Mackison family decided to use some empty space in the building and devote it to their love of RC Racing and The Factory RC Raceway was born.
We are located in York, Pa just minutes off the Mt. Rose exit of Interstate 83 making it convenient for those traveling to race with us.

The facility is the home of the Guildcraft Furniture factory built in 1920s or 30s with several businesses still running in it.

Check us out on our social media outlets:
We are currently are currently setting up the following areas:
  • 10th scale carpet off-road track (Expected Mid-November)
  • 10th scale loose dirt oval (Expected Mid-November)
  • 1/18th scale carpet oval (Now Open!)
  • Large Rock Crawling course (Expected early January)
The 1/18th scale Carpet Oval track is now up and running.
This track is currently located in the Factory Basement.
The track is black CRC carpet from Knightsville speedway.
We will be using LiveTime scoring software and utilizing the TrackMate lap counting system.
TrackMate transponders work best when mounted on the outside of the body due to them being an IR signal. Wraps and paint tend to block that signal.
All 1RC classes - Any 1/18th - 1/16th class welcome!
We will run LiPo with a regulator as well as NiMH together.
Pitting in basement with overflow upstairs. Please bring a table, chair, and extension cords.

The 1/10th scale loose dirt oval track is expected to be ready to run by Mid-November.
We will be using the Livetime scoring system with an RC4 MyLaps decoder box.
The dirt will be sifted topsoil and the size and run line will be measured once it's built.
Pitting in basement with overflow upstairs. Please bring a table, chair, and extension cords.

The 1/10th scale carpet off-road track will reside on the second floor of the Factory.
There are elevators available to haul your stuff up to the track.
The track footprint is 55' x 48' and will be Cobalt Commercial Carpet.
We will be using the Livetime scoring system with an RC4 MyLaps decoder box.
Large pit area with original Factory tables to accommodate about 80 racers with a large overflow area for guys that bring their own table/setup.
Drivers stand will be 28' long with stairs and a ramp. There will be a bump out capable of holding two wheelchairs.
Shaun Duffy of Dog Days RC Race Promotions is the Race Director

Hi Shaun & company! I haven't raced since 2014 since I moved back to central PA from Pittsburgh. Looking to seeing this facility.

Our grand opener of the 10th scale carpet off-road track was a success. With 99 entries and a smooth running race program I believe everyone was happy with how the first race went.

Next up is a club race this Saturday (Dec 4th), followed by the first of the Friday Night Lights Points Series on Dec 10th.

The next awards race is the Christmas Cookies Classic on Sunday Dec 19th.
