Just to give you guys a little update. Yesterday we were out there again with the nice weather and did a little more cleanup while practicing the methods of social distancing. We cleared out a lot of the brush along the fence line and boy the back looks way bigger. Thinking of possibly doing something simple back there to fill out the weekends where the old offroad track used to be but we will see. Either way it really needed it.

But now for some of the important stuff. As of right now with all the policies concerned with Covid-19 as it is known. We hope everyone is respecting the decisions made by the powers that be to keep all safe from this highly contagious bug that's spreading. As of now we have no plans to change the schedule that has been posted with our opening day on April 25th. With that said if we have to move things around if need be for the beginning of the year but as of now the schedule remains the same and hopefully this "bug" leaves us quickly and the world returns to normal.

As far for USGT it has been decided by ROAR at the the carpet nationals the USGT motor by Gravity is the only legal motor for the class and we will apply the same rules as they are written (this does include the body weight rule). Rules are at http://www.usvintagetransam.com/…/USGTClassRules3-11-2020.p… As of yesterday they were currently available right from the site or we'd ask you to order it from your local shop that deals with Gravity RC as those guys are hurting right now and will need help once the quarantine has been lifted.

4Tec we are going to continue running the rules from last year. Which was a box stock chassis with any radio and any 200mm body that would classify as a USGT/VTA body. The Traxxas Response wheel and tires that come out of the box is the tire to use (They fill the 200mm nicely). The XL5 and Titan 12T that comes in the stock BRUSHED version with the stock pinion and spur gear that installed on the car. It's a fun free class to get beginners in the door we would like to keep it this way. (Remember the key word: FUN)

A lot of questions about F1 motors and such. We will be running 25.5 ROAR approved. it was the motor selection of choice in the Northeast. We are aware that other places run 21.5 but we are going to align with the carpet tracks close by who run 25.5 so its an easy transition and guess what your motors already in the car let's get em out there! For the events that we have we are going to run open tire for the time being until we can select the tire that we will spec out for the nationals. Currently we aren't going to tech weight because there is no weight in the Tamiya rule set currently for 2020 and that goes for our Sunday Series but come the nationals it is 1050 grams which is enforced by ROAR.

VTA the rules are at http://www.usvintagetransam.com/…/TransAmClassRules10-24-20…

Tamiya Class Rules are at https://www.tamiyausa.com/…/fil…/2020-tcs-rules-962-229f.pdf

There have been a few other classes that there has been some interest in running this year as well. For Saturday club racing we will add them as long as there are 4 guys that are willing to run them and marshall the next race. (EX: Euro Truck, Pro10 13.5, etc)

I know its a big post and many guys hit the like button 700 letters ago. But we are doing the best we can in the times we have. We hope everyone stays safe and when all is well we hope to see you guys at the track. Stay well.

was happy to be apart of the clean up crew this past saturday. raking leaves sucks, but compared to be shut in, it felt great. whenever we can get back outside, it should be a great season. cannot wait to make the most of the upcoming summer....
