I went ahead and ordered one, hopefully it'll be here by the end of the month. I'll get some video posted as soon as I get a break from work and the weather.

I finally tested a 4S pack on this set up and boy did she wake up, I'm very pleased with it, but got this little gem in the mail today

Whenever the weather breaks and when I get some free time I'll post some vids to my YouTube page

How are you keeping your diffs from exploding? It looks like an awesome project but I shredded diffs on every run on 3S running on asphalt. Got so frustrated I abandoned the platform for the LC Racing Truggy which uses a 4 gear diff design like an 1/8th scale car.

Intrigued to see how it plays out for you! The size cars are so much fun with upgraded power systems in them.

Thanks, I'll post them soon as I get a chance to get out and run it again and the weather permits

I haven't really had a chance to run it much, I didn't go out and do a couple of runs with my 4S pack, I've got plans in running a 6s with a different motor (custom wind Neu). As far as the diffs I had a set up similar to this in my Mini Revo, (build thread https://traxxas.com/forums/showthrea...ne-too-far)and everyone were blowing diffs, I bought extras but never used them, I just recently sold it. I think in my case it's due to driving style and programming my esc as far as punch control, I never nail it out of the hole, but with these set ups you couldn't do that anyway because it would flip so fast you'll miss it, like throwing the clutch away on a GXR-1000. After I get some more runs in I'll post updates on how the diffs are holding up.
