Default Mini 8ight t velineon gearing

Hi all, picked up a losi mini 8ight t. I'm looking to put a Traxxas velineon motor in it, stock motor is bad. I'm gonna be running 2s and 3s. Just looking for exactly WHT I'm gonna need to do this, what gears and gearing I should run. Can anyone give exact part numbers? Thanks

The Traxxas E-Revo 1/16 pinions are a good option....been using them! They fit the VXL motor with no mods on a Losi Mini8....

the mini 8 1/8 shaft pinions work no problem too and they will mesh correctly with the spur.

I'm running that motor and I'm using the Hot Racing Hardened steel 59t Spur and 16t pinion. I also use 2s and 3s.

Is a 60t .5m the same size as a 60t 48p spur?

I have a stock Losi mini 8 buggy. I dropped a 3s lipo after a few runs it striped the spur gear. Any suggestions for a better quality spur gear than the stock one?

Thanks
