thanks for the link. I think the kicker is are they still made. if not, grab the stock when you can. Hopefully someone steps up with something similar, I know HW did a motor as a demo for LC racing it appears, with Mini's starting to take off again and the Mini Nats looking to be held again, should be good time for mini motors.

Regarding the various motors, like the Traxxas velineon 380 and the TenShock 2938 also called TS-X1401 as well as other motors that will fit in these small cars.
They are all fine but if you want a sensored motor the pickings are very slim, the Leopard Hobby 2838 is one of the few, I have not been able to find any info on the HW mini sensored motor for LC racing so any info and links would be greatly apreciated.

Hobbyking also has a single sensored motor that should fit in the 1/14 cars, it's out of stock everywhere sadly.
Here's a link to it though
https://hobbyking.com/en_us/1-14th-s...html?wrh_pdp=3

Carisma makes a motor that should drop right in the 1/14 scale cars here's a link https://www.carisma-shop.com/en/prod...il.php?id=1162
https://www.carisma-shop.com/en/prod...il.php?id=1163

There's tons and tons of sensorless motors for the 1/14 scale cars. Tenshock makes 5 variants of the TS-X1401, I personally have two, a 3050kV and a 4850kV variant. Leopard makes several motors I believe that will fit in the 1/14 cars, I will link to them below so you can see them and give me your assessment/evaluation of the motors and it's important if you believe they do not fit it's important you speak up.
Okay let the linking begin...

It’s a work in progress. Burnt up the stock motor first couple times I had it out. Upgraded electronics first and getting the chassis bullet proofed now

if you find that motor has issues handling the load the lc racing truggy sized long can motor may be an option, albeit, not sensored though.
