I picked up a couple of these a couple weeks ago. The shocks are trash and leak all over, but otherwise I like the truck. I've got a couple sets of shocks on the way that I'm hoping will work better.
Mine came in a different box, but included the US plug adapter for the charger wall wart. I used my Accucell 6 charger, and was only able to force a little under 1,000ma into the pack, so the 1100mah rating might be a bit optimistic. Run time was pretty good though. I got around 20 minutes buzzing around my driveway.

7mm, I know because I was looking to get them for my Dromida since these wheels look pretty sweet but after some searching I realized the hex on them is 7mm.

Not bad for an entry level truck! Would be a great way too see if a kid likes rc enough to put a proper $300 into a bulletproof kit. Video makes it seem durable... Are the electronics waterproof?

And yeah, I think it should be a decent intro to RC. One of the two I bought is for a friend's kid that's turning 8 in a couple weeks. The biggest drawback that I can see so far is just that due to the small size and high speed, you're pretty limited in where you can use it. You can't really run it in grass, and it's too fast for small driveways unless you've got good throttle control, which most first time RCers (and especially young kids) don't have.
