I’m looking for performance parts. There’s not much really available. Is there a good place to get a deal on the losi shock upgrade?

Oh yeah, we set up a small dirt track outside already. It’s about 24-30” wide, which seems to be just wide enough for these. I’m thinking I’ll cut up an old water hose to use at the track barrier.

To use the Losi shocks requires a aftermarket shock tower. And only one person makes them. Currently not showing any on eBay. I'll keep my eye out for him to post them.

Carisma does have a set a aluminum shocks. I have not used them. I knew of a few owners that tried them. Worked but were on the fragil side. Didn't seem to take any impacts.

Does packing the dry shocks with grease help, or does it just make a mess?

Just an FYI, Amazon has the GT24T (Yellow) on sale for $79. Includes the lipo.

Haven't messed with stock stocks. They do have different springs for them. I've got them, just haven't tried them yet. I do recall reading that they helped. I'll try to get them installed tonight or weekend. It's been long overdue.

Yup. Seen the Amazon ads. Got 4 now. I'm waiting to see if they follow my suggestion for a body. Though I do want to add the Monster truck version at some point.

I ordered the monster truck version, but would rather have a truggy or buggy. If you want the yellow truck body, let me know and I'll trade you.

MT should be delivered on Sunday.

Have you seen anyone make a set of drift wheels for these?

No. But I've seen pvc pipe used to make drift tires before. Not this small but could work.

I've used the MiniZ buggy foam tires. Haven't tried any others.

We wrapped the tires with painters tape, works perfectly on the hardwood floors. I don’t expect it to hold up on concrete though.

I need to get my printer set back up and try printing a set.

We started work on this track the day we paid for the GT24B before it even arrived. We need more dirt to cover up the mulch, we just got two bags to see if the dirt would work well. (We can't dig past the mulch, because the dirt here is all sand)

But anyway, here's a video of my son driving his new mini outside. It's all stock except for a missing wing and GT24TR wheels/tires. Running on the stock 1S lipo.

Got the "truck" in today. They sent me a truggy by mistake. Not going to complain about that.

Anyone else have heat problems on 2s? This thing gets crazy hot, I might remove the upper chassis piece to help with heat. It's not the gear mesh, I already adjusted that. Running 13t pinion and stock spur.
