Default Build thread...Mini Revo(another one)

Hey guys, got a mini revo here. It's the first car I ever wanted and I never ended up owning one. I'd had the chance to drive a few and have watched a ton drive and in videos and it always seemed like such a cool platform, especially with the litany of upgrades available. In driving some ive only driven one i liked, a buddy of mine fully kitted one out and it's not only fast, but extremely bash friendly too. The rest seemed sloppy, underpowered and looked any number of different flavors of ugly. Then looking on here I've seen so many nice builds, I had to do my own.

So I went nuts with my intejunk discount and bought a bunch of fairly low impact, machined parts and then bought a bunch more after that and so on....

The result so far is unknown as I've still not driven it, and I'm at a crossing point so thought I'd bring it out and see what you all think.

No list, you guys know what this stuff is...

My question is on the esc and battery as I have decided on a motor(below). If i use one of the battery trays as a place to store the esc and receiver, it limits me to one 2200mah lipo 2s lipo, or one 1900mah 3s lipo. The motor draws 70a with around 750 watts and i obviously need a 70-80amp+ esc. This brings into question both run time and just how big of an esc to use. I was thinking a sidewinder 3, mamba max pro or one of the hobbyking 80a. At thatpoint....20 minutes should be doable? Or do I scrap that idea entirely?

Also, the motor in picture is for fun...it weighs way too much, hence the other motor I plan to use in the pics. It's a kada 2857 4800kv, 70a, ~35mm diameter, 2-3s.

Looks good ! Never been a fan of using one of the battery bays to house the ESC and RX as I feel it throws the trucks balance way off . A 60 to 80 amp ESC should be fine in that small of a vehicle. ..

But don't you think moving the esc and receiver into the battery box would help offset the additional weight higher up with the new motor mount? Also...any idea on run times I could expect with just one battery?

Thanks!!!

Well...I'm at my first problem. Stripped spur. Ordered a steel one, would a center diff help too? It's locked right now, I'm guessing that's the way they are stock?
