Default Losi Mini 8ight Conversion Help Needed.

My 8yo son has a Mini 8ight that he would like to convert to a Mini 8ight-T.

I have been searching the web for a conversion parts list, but have come up empty. Does anyone have such a list or know where I can find that information?

Thanks,
MOTRAIN

Arms, towers, driveshafts, chassis, center driveshaft, turnbuckles, top plate, body mounts, body and that's about it.

Or

Buy one off the for sale thread for $150-$200 and have a buggy and truggy!

Check out the mini 8ight thread as I think this was discussed in there.

Bottom line is, not really economically viable. Too many differences that would cost too much. Be better off either selling the buggy or just getting one off ebay/cl.

If your son just wants to have the truggy, then like Lemonader said buying a used one between $150-200 is your best bet.

If you're wanting to have the 'project' experience together then check out this thread, it was all covered here: http://www.rctech.net/forum/micro-mi...i-8-new-t.html

In addition to the parts list that targetingxmod came up with you'll also have to source (2) 3x6x2.5mm bearings.

I've actually been doing a quasi-conversion/build from scratch of the M8T. The cheapest I was able to source all those parts, including the bearings was $132.93 using coupon codes ($155.86 full price). I didn't end up using that entire parts list.

Thanks fort he help, i know its not the most economical way to do but we are looking to go through the "build experience". I figure if we buy the upgraded stuff we should have a solid mini once we are done and he will get some good wrenching time.

Thanks again!
