Losi 1/24 SCT-BL Binding Issues
Hey guys, im new here, i searched around for any threads related to this but could not find any... so anyways the other day i fried my rx/esc unit on my brushless micro SCT. I ordered a new one off horizon hobby and it came today. i followed the binding instructions and it tells me to hold down bind button while turning it on, and then to let the bind button go.and then to power on the transmitter. whenever i try to do this, the bind button led stops blinking and the nothing happens. All batteries i tried it on were fully charged, i tried Lipos and NiMH. Any ideas?

Binding
1. Press and hold the bind button while powering
on the receiver.
2. The green LED will flash continuously, indicating
that the receiver is in bind mode.
3. Release the bind button.
4. Move the steering wheel and throttle
to the desired failsafe positions. I wouldn't touch the steering or throttle.
5. Enter the transmitter into bind mode.
Refer to your transmitter instruction
manual for more information.
6. The green LED on the receiver will be solid when
the receiver and transmitter are bound.

failsafe
Failsafe positions are stored during binding. In
the unlikely event that the radio link is lost during
use, the receiver will move the servos to their
preprogrammed failsafe positions (normally full
brakes and straight steering). The only time it is
necessary to re-bind your receiver and transmitter
is if you desire different failsafe positions. Always
re-bind your transmitter and receiver after any
changes to throttle channel reversing.
NOTICE:Failsafe protects against signal loss from
the transmitter. failsafes will not activate in
the event that power to the receiver is lost.

Thanks for the reply, but my problem is that after let the bind button go, the green light stops blinking, therefore not allowing me to bind with transmitter.

Did you try holding the button for 5 seconds or perhaps 10 seconds? If it's not going into bind mode I don't know what to tell you. Maybe it's the newest esc. If so I don't see a manual for the new esc or even the newer 1:24ths.
I would give Horizon a call. This is their ground vehicle product support number 888-959-2306. Other ways to contact them is here. http://www.horizonhobby.com/content/...service-center
