DEPOT HOBBY SHOP TRACK FIRST RACE JANUARY 31!
 

The first race is on January 31st and will be running 1:14 scale and smaller cars/trucks on a carpet offroad in the Center Court of Carl Sandburg Mall in Galesburg, Illinois.Pits will hopefully be held in what used to be Clair's next door to the hobby shop. If not their then in the center court. No scoring system yet. Just come in and play around, some races will be held.

I will bring a simple camera scoring system, I hope you will run 1/10th scale 2wd buggy.

Were going to do 10th scale oval. I know of about 2-3 guys bringing 2wd buggies. It might be a little small, I told the other guys to run a 21.5 lol

Cool sounds like fun. Let me know if you need any help setting the track up. I have the lap timer system on a laptop and I will bring it.

Does you have transponders? Almost all of them will be guys running stock stuff and nobody is going to have personal transponders.

See the link below for what I use in my shop, works great with one or two cars and is good for fastest lap or most lap in a certain amount of time. I just figured it would be better than nothing.

The have a small off-road carpet track that is fun!
