Where you seeing a 20% discount? Was hoping to pick one up used but at that price might as well buy new.

does anyone have any suggestions on the slipper clutch adjustment, after 50+ battery packs and one truck getting the spur and pinion gears replaced, the trucks are breaking loose and spinning, the slipper pads and everything else on the clutch looks perfect, i contacted both nitrorcx and lc racing, but haven't got any help yet, had a couple of ae sc18, their manual had a measurement for setting the clutch

Did your front set screw on the diff input shaft loosen/fall out? If so you'd be running RWD and it's pretty undriveable like that.

Are all 4 wheels spinning if you hold the car in the air?

A little info for anyone owning a LC Racing or Tacon branded rc car, I was trying to find out what the factory setting was for the slipper clutch, I emailed Ben Sun from LC Racing about it, he replied back to me with a picture out of their new updated manual for the EMB-1HK buggy, most of the cars are basically the same, here's a link to go to to down load their version 2 manual, it's the first on on the upper left side, http://rccar.com.cn/index.php?m=cont...=lists&catid=7

Thanks Petem - the manual is a nice little thing to have if nothing else to reference part numbers in the future should they be needed.

Default manual

I just adjusted the slipper clutch to 7mm like it said in the new updated manual, truck was much better, no spinning on jumps or powering out of corners, the other adjustment i found helpful is the steer servo saver of 1.5mm, had problems with this and tighten it to fix the sloppy steering, but it seems to back off, need to find away to keep it from backing off!

I had the same issue on mine. I flipped the car upside down and put some locktite on the cap that is threaded and let it sit overnight. Been solid since then.

Default first broken part

after running a couple of battery packs on our track last night, the trucks seemed to be bottoming out, so today i decided to change the shock fluid, changed to 35wt end of july, after 5 months and over 60 battery packs, i finally broke something, after doing my wife's truck, i started on the front shocks on mine, and notice one of the front a-arms broken, had a spare on hand luckily, these trucks are great, after bashing them for 5 months only one thing broke, have replaced the spur and pinion, but that was probably from dirt, have upgraded the servos and the shock springs (losi m8ight) and shock fluid, lc racing has a 1/10th touring car out, when i find someone selling it, probably get a couple for the road!!

has anyone found a 35a or higher waterproof ESC to replace the stock 35a ESC, only thing I've found so far that is small enough to fit where the stock one is, have been 25a and 30a Esc, Hobbywing has their Quicrun 60a sensor/sensorless WP ESC, which is small enough, but its listed for 1/10th trucks with 13.5T or smaller motors, not sure if the 2838 4500KV stock motor would work, any input would be great!

Default It's a sad night

It's a sad night at our back yard track, got in a couple of battery packs under the lights, might be a while before we can run our trucks, expecting 4-5 inches of rain in the next 3-4 days, probably won't let up much for the next 4-5 months since we live in the pacific NW, need to win the lottery and build an indoor track, or at least covered one!

The hobbywing quicrun 60a works great with the stock truggy motor.

Been running this (which has to be almost the same thing as the HW 60a) with no complaints. I have it paired with a Velinon 380 but it's ultra smooth on 2S & 3S.
