Default Mini 8ight - Hop Ups worth their weight in gold

As the title suggests what hop ups for the mini 8ight do you find to be most beneficial and why. To kick things off ill post a few obvious ones.

Hitec 225mg - Replaces stock steering servo for better turning performance.
Hobbywing ezrun ESC 35 - 60 amp - Better control over acceleration vs stock esc.

What are some of the hop ups you've used and how does it compare to the stock counterpart?

Hmm, I would have to say that running a lipo is the first best upgrade you can do.

Secondly is the aluminum front arm pin supports

Third is rpm front arms.

Fourth is my jconcepts bar codes modified for the mini 8ight. Its really a traction difference on the track.

Fith is the hobbyking aluminum lock nuts for the wheels. You will never have another nut come loose.

6th is my o-ring under the wing mod. It totally eliminates the breaking of the wing mounts.

7th Speed controller upgrade

8th is the hobbyking 3800 outrunner. Its a good little motor, that performs well over stock and is more durable. And its only 8 bucks.

9th Gear cover of some sorts

10th Radio

Hello all,
I just bought my Mini8 this last weekend and am looking for a fix/mod to prevent the upper shock caps from busting. What Ofna part number do i need? Or off what Ofna RC can these come from? I read about this from a post a few up from mine.
Thanks

the traxxas shock caps don`t have the same tread...the tires are the stock rear mini 8ight on front and back ,the rims are on road 1/10 from hpi.

after changing to a truggy body i stop bending the front shock tower but on hard crash i bent the rear one..so i tried to make one from some delrin..did not ride it yet...i hop it will protect my wing mount and also the diff case.

i will take some picture from under the body a post them asap.

Cheers!
