Questions?? Losi Mini Baja Problem, Upgrade Advice?

I have a losi mini baja that's playing up - stops driving after about 30 seconds and the led on the esc flashes. After 20 or 30 seconds it resets itself and will run again, but then the problem just keeps repeating. So I'm guessing i need a new esc, but rather than buy another losi unit I'm thinking about an upgrade - a castle creations sidewinder micro sport esc and 4200kV motor.

I'm new to this, and keen to know if these upgrades will work / be easy to install in my losi mini baja? Will I need to upgrade anything else?

Pretty sure your truck has an "all in one" ESC and receiver , if you cange the ESC you will need to get a new RX as well . Check and see if you have a 5 wire servo , if you do you need a servo also .

Default Separate Receiver

Thanks for your reply. The ESC and receiver are separate units, and the servo seems to have 3 wires coning out of it. Any other advice for me? Do you think the sidewinder micro is a good option?

The sidewinder works perfect I would get the 5400 though.

Cool , you have one of the newer ones then . The micro sidewinder would work great in your baja .

Default Motor Size?

Great, thanks. Do I need to specify a particular motor size (dimensions) to fit the Mini Baja? Or are they all the same size?
