Thanks for the tip. The only downside is the diminishing supply of M8 parts.

Losi still makes and sells the Mini 8ight DB doesn't that use the same hubs?

Oh wth, I just saw the 8ight db and 8ight T were discontinued

Hello, I purchased a Reflex 14T and I like it but I donít think itíll ever be as competitive as the EMB. Iím just going to keep it as a basher.

My question is, is there a solid clay setup for the EMB? I see a lot of carpet setups but we run on medium-high grip clay and I canít seem to find a setup for that surface.

Any help much appreciated.

Any idea where I might find one of these carpet setups? I tried searching this thread and just came up with this post and don't want to scroll 100+ pages of the thread

Rebuilt the diffs, fitted new outdrives, fitted a new motor mount and its running again, also made a new chassis skin from some cheap vinyl.

slick2500 and gnfam like this.

Is the LC12B1 really more value than the EMB-1H? I see CVDs, a carbon upper deck, mid motor mount, and low profile body.

ehhh...I think for carpet racing maybe. For me the long wheel base is a nice add as well. I currently run a short course truck that I convert to buggy so its basically a rear moto LC12B1 at this point. I run it on high bite clay and it pushes just alittle where I wouldn't mind the mid motor.

I like the Phat body Mini and Escort set-up the most but I need a smaller chassis. It probably doesnít matter either way. Donít think we have 1/14 classes. Parts wise I can figure it out but to get 200mm width?

Any LC racing with just street/rally style tires will be right at about 200mm in witdh (just checked my shortcourse and its 202ish). I like that mini body myself but 190mm I dont think is possible even though it says it is meant for the EMB....

I love how "stumpy" that body makes the LC look. Like a radioshack from back in the day.

Like normal 1/10 touring car sized wheels/tires? The hexes are the same?

The MT chassis is listed 185mm wheelbase on their site. Still might not work idk.
