I am selling my LC Racing 1/14 Truggy if anyone is looking for one.

Great condition, barely used! Find it in the marketplace, or PM me for details.

Actually went yesterday afternoon and had 5 minutes to the track myself so tried a slow-mo shot. Working on a simple camera to mount to mine next!

Its quicker then my 17.5 buggy by a country mile and a ton more fun to drive.

Oh yeah these will whip up on a 17.5 buggy if someone is wanting "mod" power you got that here, but its like controllable.

What are you guys finding works for mounting up a fan to say the leopard motor with the LC12B1? Got a nice 25mm fan here thinking could use that for some cooling.

Idk about a fan but I found some heatsinks that fit on the Leopard motor. These also fit easily on the Tenshock motor as well.

On mine I just servo taped a 30mm YR Tornado Plus to the pan and it held fine. You could use Shoe Goo as well. With the lid being so low profile I wanted all the clearance I could get and this is super common practice in 1/10 racing. Some of those cheap heatsink/fan mount combos don't actually have a pass through for the air from the fan to cool the motor. They only cool the heatsink, which is kinda pointless. There is an Integy one and a YR one that have slots for the fan to cool the motor, but again, at least in the LC12, you could run into clearance issues.

yeah was thinking that too, that 25mm yeah racing aluminum fan I have works well, may give this a look or figure out something else.

Stupid question, is the rear shock tower supposed to be flat?

No, they come "bent". The carbon one is flat though. Not sure how that affects the geometry.

if someone could make a wedge for the carbon tower to take up that space the "bent' stockers have, that would be great.

Ran my LC12B1 a bit on a track that I frequent, was more of a quick practice one as turnout was light but using schumacher mini pin tires front and rear, rear trimmed on outer and inner edge fronts were the narrow ones but untrimmed car was a missile. Clipped a corner and bent a hingepin, talking to someoen this seems more common now with the hard a-arms and inserts. Anyone else notice this?

Okay I was a bit confused because I couldn't remember if they were bent or flat and the carbon fiber ones being flat sort of confused me. I also noticed that the WL Toys copy has flat shock towers so that sort of threw me off as well.

I have a front shock tower protector (above) and i was going to make a rear tower protector as well. I should be able to add thickness to the top and taper. I have never used the carbon tower but how out of plumb does it shake out to be? Are the shocks bent over 10*? If there is an ideal additional thickness at the shock mounts to straighten up the shock then that would determine the wedge shape.

Feel free to PM me as well but it doesn't sound to difficult.
