The shocks are between 56mm-59mm in length. You need to remove the bottom end plastic bracket from the stock losi shocks to use and make a shim for the top. They are shorter than stock.

Main issues have been with the drive train and the collet for the 4wd in the front loosening after a short run.

The tires make the car do a lot of drifting and don't really hook up that great.

Its really fast. Best I have seen is 61 mph, but I think its actually quicker. Tough to make a good GPS run.

I bought a truggy body for it so it can fit the 3s1p pack. Nothing is hot and I can gear up. Not sure how fast it will be, but it should be pretty unholy.

Switching to an exotek chassis, which is WAY easier to convert to an 11 series setup. Installing a wheelie bar and going to paint up the body for the next runs.

The cut out depth is right for the 11 series. You need to smooth out the edges and round them out a bit. You also need to elongate the grove for the 1115, likely not the 1110. Its just easier. It took me about an hour and several cutting wheels to get the aluminum chassis done right. The exotek took about 10 mins and was so much less effort.

I will post a pick when its back together and I fab up the wheelie bar plate.

Those Neu motors are nice. But man they are way over priced for what you get in my opinion.

That is a sharp looking mini 8ight in the previous page!

errr, if we are talking about "Neu's" price tag, you don't know what NEU is!

This is high end territory, if you have to ask the price in this "lands" you should look to the other side!

That's just the way things are!

Mercedes, BMW's, Porsche's, Lamborghini's, Rolls Royce, Bentley's land... in 1:1 cars...

Krell, McIntosh, Meridian's, Sonus Faber,Tannoy in audio world...

Lhener's,Neu's,Plettenberg's,MGM's in Rc world ....

For the owner, please put more pics of the real "beast" and if possible make a video....
Pics should include detail on motor mount and pinion size....

Nice sales pitch but volts are volts, and watts are watts. And I imagine with these "Cadillac" motors there is a two year warranty?

1 year warranty. Not bad. But I will stick with the 6 pole scorpions for half the price and twice the warranty.

Don't get me wrong, I love castle. But just can't justify the motor price.

Scorpion is a good brand! Excellent! No doubts...

Castle? Castle is just china made with Usa instructions.... (standart quality)

Neu, is just the next step. Even some castle motor's claim the neu name.... a true NEU with their BLACK can, can't be compared to the green castle can's motors...

the torque of a neu/lhener/plettenberg will bent steel like a big block petrol engine! Overbuild, overkill, overprice too... but... look to this kind of videos...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S0DCBKM_ca0 - 1/5 Losi 5 T

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8JUKRJ5mMdU - Serpent 1/8

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nSFIDTXB5ss - WTF boat?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9t6XFqTuv7s - Tareq with an t-rex 700 heli with yours Scorpion motor's!

Not saying this is for the normal public, but like all things in life, there are some freaking power machines outhere!
This in electric form....

For gas or jato motor's in high land "alicewonderland's"...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dTHWBSluUjU
Just the price tag on those jet motor you can buy a 1:1 suzuki bike!

All those rc's in those videos can be only operated by professionals and the risk in failure is DEATH or serious, permament injury! So no 14years kids playing those....

And i live on a budget...and everybody can dream!
and this is not a contest of whow's got the biggest whine....

for the topic... i love pushing the limit's on the 1/16 scales... even the m8 is a 1/14scale?
Mine m8 right now got the velenium with 3s 60c ROCKAMP (an high end brand lipo from helis) with stock esc on 1/10 tires with 19T pinion on 58spur. With a "quality" china servo, very cheap SOLAR brand!
