I run thunder power 2100mah 3s 20c and i cut the battery end brackets that turn to hold the battery i can still put battery top holder on its snug but still goes on. I run the gen ace 1550 mah 2s ones too. The thunder power lasts about 20 to 25 min snd gens ace about 15

Give the Gens Ace 1550mah 2s 25-30c a try. They are cheap enough to at least try them out. I have been waiting ever since I got this car to try the 1800mah from them but have been out of stock for a while.

this is my 2100mah 3s 20c thunder power battery with holder modded to fit it and it fits it and is really snug but i get 25 plus minutes on a 3s battery and most of my friends are running gens ace 1550 mah batts 2s and they will usually go through 2 of them before i go through this one

I mainly stick with what fits in the battery tray so I don't throw off the balance to much for the track. I also don't want to mod the tray. Now if I used it as a basher I would

I've been using Turnigy Nano-tech 2S 2200mah 35C batts. They're a little big, but fit well. I run Velcro on the bottom of the batt to hold it in place in addition to the stock strap.I had to space the battery brackets up by 2mm to fit, and works great. Here is a few pics.

Doesn't look to bad of a fit. I would like to find a bigger pack but I already have 5 Gens so I am good for a while lol

Well I think I'm going to swing at this battery and see how it goes. I currently have two Venom 1300 3S and one Venom 2000 2S. I just think I need one longer lasting battery at a cheaper price. If the Turnigy turn work out I may order one more.

THANK YOU ! I totally agree with this point , these big batteries giving longer runtimes is nice , but at what cost ?

At that price, I'm going to pic up 2, sweet deal, I'll also wait on the other to get in stock and grab a couple.

I see your point, but Losi offers a 2C 2000 Mah 20C lipo as an upgrade to that car, and according to their website it weighs 99.3 grams. I don't know what the stock battery weighs, but I'd imagine it would be similar. Now, the turnigy 2200nah 35C is advertised as weighing 133grams; so that's a 34gram difference. Additionally, I run a MRT PTX on the opposite side of the battery, which is 9 grams, which leaves a 25 gram variance in balance. Is this enough to unsettle the handling of the car? Don't know, as my driving skill isn't quite at that level. However, for me, the slightly longer run time and higher discharge seems to work. Regardless, its one more option for others to consider when selecting the ideal battery for them. Not everyone is looking for the ultimate race machine. Just sayin'.
