Default replacement for 2080 servo?

my 2080 servo in my mini vxl summit has failed me. not sure exactly what has happened to it but the motor seems to be running at all times. what is a better replacement for this that will bolt right in?

the problem u r having is a stipped gear..i went wiht a hitech 82mg but a hitech 85mg will also work. u have to use oneof the arms that come with the servo and have to drill out the holes on the horn for it to work but it basically drops right in. it isnt wter proof but that can easily be fixed. those servos are around25 or the new gears are 6ish but u r going to end up stripping more gears. i went tho 6 sets of gears and 3 servos before i ecided to go to a metal gear servo

Hitec now makes a metal gear waterproof servo that drops right in.......right around 45 bucks.

What is the hitec model number for the water proof model? Mine only turns one direction with any distance & the other way is 20% at best.

Thx.

Not sure which one would fit, but these are a good cheap option if you want.
