Wheels and tires :
Any 1/10 sized touring car wheel and tire combo will fit if it uses a 12mm hex , a lot of people are using HPI rally ties as there isn't a good offroad tire yet for the stock sized wheels .
http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXM975&P=7
http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXBRSL&P=7

There are also these tires from Tamiya
http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXGG35&P=7

Those tires will fit on the 1/10 Touring Car wheel of your choice , not gonna post links as their are hundreds to choose from .

You can use 1/10 buggy size wheels and tires but I think they are too big and will make the buggy handle poorly .

Here is an article on how to make your own tires for the Mini 8ight ...

I guess this would explain why Horizon would not bring us the Carisma buggy. Looks good tho.

So its 1/16th?

Edit. Oh. 1/14th. Not even half of eight scale.

These "minis" are getting bigger and bigger. Kinda ruins the whole point for me.

I hope they will...for all the small scale cars..

it is almost the size of a Traxxas rally/slash...app 10mm shorter, but wider..

I kinda wonder if this is the whole Mini Inferno fiasco all over again. Overcomplex drivetrain and heavy that needed tons of upgrades. I think the Charisma is still the #1 choice in 1/14th for racing at least.

Looking at it closely it looks rather similar to the carisma gt14b and I get the feeling it may be based on the on road GT14 layout so as to get the battery down one side and the motor at the rear. I really like the Carisma and if this Losi has some of that heritage then it will be great to see some competition in this area.

Its got a diff front and rear, and one shaft connecting them, whats over complicated about that?

I think the ally chassis & towers is a good thing considering the speeds these things can reach. Lets face it, any brushless/lipo combo is gonna power this thing.

Personally, I have been waiting for something like this for a long time, the Mini-T was fun, but wasnt good at handling the power a 9600Kv motor could generate

Oh, and whos going to put some money down on Losi doing a proper 1/10th scale 4WD racing buggy based on the 1/8th platform!?
