Default The Official Savage XS Flux Thread

The Savage XS Flux is coming. I've been waiting for this for a while, can't wait. Looks solid.

It's equipped with 1/10th scale electronics (brushless esc & motor), 2.4 Ghz and waterproof!!!!!!

Are you sure that it's a 1/10 scale? It has 1/10 ELECTRONICS, but it's a mini, so how can it be 1/10 scale?

My bad, thanks for the correction. I will correct it.
I was thinking that it will be similar in size as a 1/10 buggy but thats incorrect for a MT.

OK, so that's a little bit bigger than my MERV. I've been looking for something a little bit bigger and better than it, maybe I'll end up selling my MERV and buying this new HPI Savage XS. It looks really awesome. The a-arms look so thick, and the chassis looks so strong.

There's a thread for this already in the monster truck forum bc it's a monster truck , not really a mini , closer to a 10th scale. You can preorder now , no release date yet but due next month they should be hitten the shelves.

I've been thinking for the last couple of weeks I need me a merv. And today I see a couple on here for sale. While I decide should I or shouldn't I? I open up my new car action magazine and see the new XS flux! I've never had a mini, I have a VE8 now and have had rustler VXL. I can only assume that the quality and durability of the XS will be better then the merv. I'm not trying to trash traxxas here, I really wanted one till I saw the XS. So you guys with the mini rc cars, how well are they for bashing? Cuz that's all I'm looking for with this.. this thing looks sweet.

LOL, exactly, it's a give and take relationship. Hopefully the diffs and stuff will all be bullet proof.
