MINI LST2 HELP!!!!

I bought a mini lst2 from a friend and it was missing the wheel hex and the pin set so i ordered them and received them today them i drove it for a little bit until the battery was finished. And that battery lasts for like ten minutes so i was wondering if anyone knew what kind of battery would work a lot better?????

there are batts made exactly to fit the mini lst2, if you want to pay for them. I would suggest measuring the battery tray area and getting a couple 1000mah to 1300mah lipos from Hobbyking. I just got a mini lst2 a few weeks ago and im also looking for batts, havent bought any yet though.

an idea that I had was get the 540 motor mount, and get a mid to low level 540 motor so you don't kill the drivetrain
then take that extra space on one side, and stack 2 LiPo's and run them in paralell...
then put the ESC behind the motor, and the RX on top of the servo(s)

since the space is long, you could get the longer, flatter packs made for oh, say the RC18. That would be good for me, since I am going to be running my M18 on LiPo too. Won't need to buy 2 seperate kinds of batteries.

Sounds similar to what im running now. Although im running a 4370kv 380 brushless motor on one side and a lipo from my Vendetta laying flat diagonally on the other side. I tried to lay it flat front to back and standing on its side but keeping it there was a pain. With the battery laying flat diagonally i was able to keep the upper tray on with the receiver and esc on top. Fits well and its def wont come out, but I would still like to get some properly fitting lipos, especially since theyre less than 10 bucks on hobbyking.
