Default fastest brushless esc and motor for mini lst2?

I know everyone uses mamba but there are other choices. Im looking to run 3s on a mini lst2. seen a vid with a mamba esc with losi xcelorin 6000 motor and it looked a little faster than the mamba combo. What other choices are there? Thanks

If you want the baddest stuff you can buy get yourself a Neu 1105 and your choice of good ESCs. 1/10th Sidewinder ESC, or my choice would be the EZRun 60A with the fan removed. Be prepared to upgrade your drivetrain.

Thanks for the help. I just ordered a castle creations CM26 6800kv limited edition motor. Got it for 30 bucks shipped! Its 26mm so a fair bit bigger than the xcelorin for the mini and alot bigger than the regular 1/18 castle motors. Im sure it will be enough to make me smile and go . Planning on running 3s with the micro pro esc. Prolly going to order a fan for the motor and esc. Only thing is that it requires a 3.2mm bore pinnion. I am hoping the pinnion gear set I ordered earlier today will have enough material to bore out and still be strong enough . Anyways super excited. Ordered a bunch of crap for the mini this weekend. Love the fact that parts for these things are so darn cheap!
