Ok so I've heard and read different things on the scale of this rig... Is it a 1/16 or a 1/18...

Alot of what I've seen says 1/16 but it seems like its in-between both.

I thought it was 1/16, so I go to the LHS to look at motors,, they tell me it's 1/18 but they sell the frog there marked as a 1/16... So which size do I buy??

Mini scale dimensions are more diluted than a Division 1 football players pee, but they're basically 1/18. Any 280-300 sized brushed motor or corresponding brushless system will fit.
Mambas, Reedy micros and the Xcelorin 1/18 will work just fine.

I can tell you definitively, Tamiya Tamtech Buggies are 1/16 scale. It's a fact.

It does not mean other scale items, such as 1/18 scale, would not work.
