The servo is starting to quiver and hum so I know its only a matter of time however I know its not that. Its under hard acceleration and its a loud click, def diff area. On another note I picked up a HS82mg today at the LHS just in preparation for when the stocker dies. I dont think the slipper would make a clicking, that usually just spins when its dead.

I just ordered an hs82mg as well. Good choice. The KO servo looks better, but 60 bucks vs 20, i'll try the hitec first.

And I actually do remember a slight clicking for a while, but it went away. I don't know what to tell you. Maybe you're gearing isn't meshed right? Try and see if you can tell where in the car it is coming from.

Bought an SC18 last nite but happy owner of a MERV since Christmas.
Got the smaller one just because i'm sure it will rock on my local carpet track in wich the E-Revo is quite huge and useless.I hope that i can find a proper digital servo and a hotter brushed motor than the stock one,i'll replace the esc with the Carisma RTR Cut/Off brushed esc and i'm positive it will give some serious trouble to my friends down at the track.

Merv is a great basher,is very fast out of the box and strong, but it's a completely different way of enjoy RC compared to the little SC18:"different strokes"

it's your diffs clicking, the best shims i've found to work so far are the ASC21141. there's 2 versions of the rear bulk, the newer version has a screw going through each half to help prevent this.

I need to get those diff housings. The stockers dont have screws going through them so they can open up. I did pick up some shims as well as the center diff which I believe will help out quite a bit. So far so good after one pack running tonight before the sun went down. I had the LHS order the diff housings though so hopefully they get me the nicer ones. As of right now I am really happy with how shes running. Ill post some pics up tonight sometime.

toadztoyz.com is the best place ive found. cheaper than anywhere else, kinda like thebarnfloor.com for losi stuff, just cheaper than anyone else around.

I have to lhs near by and if my main one doesn't carry it I ask them to order it for me. They are friends of mine and give me a good discount and usually can get me whatever I need. I sometimes stop at the other lhs just to see if they have anything, sometimes they do sometimes they don't but it's on my way home so worth checking. I don't really like the place though so I never special order anything from them.

thats the best way to do it. I'm all about supporting the local guys, however most LHS do not carry sufficient, if any, parts for these things. Therefore the internet is where I turn.

My LHS carries a ton of Traxxas parts since they sell more traxxas cars than anything. They also have quite a bit of OFna/hobao/hyper parts and also carry a ton of Align parts for my heli. They are also good friends of mine and always give me a discount and I usually stop by once a week to just hang out and talk shop.
