Mini T Battery Question

I'm getting a Losi Mini T. I'm planning on getting the optional NiMH battery to start out with(http://www.losi.com/Products/Feature...rodId=LOSB1202) Is this a good battery to get? Remember I'm just starting with the NiMH.

Any help will be appreciated

It's ok at best. There are a lot better packs out there for less money.

LiPo?

If I were to get lipos like thesehttp://hobbyking.com/hobbycity/store..._20C_Lipo_Pack would a OFNA DIGIPEAK3 charger charge them and balance them? Or if it doesn't balance them is there something I should get to balance them?

You can get a balancer like this to use with any lipo charger that doesn't have balancing built in.

Going lipo is def the route I would take. You will be a lot happier with lipo power than with nimh power. I can't even stand to run a nimh pack any more after switching to lithium.
