the smoothest ball diff has to be kyosho's own optional ball diff. it is much smoother than mine. the steering of the mini Z could use some improvements. it doent hold the settings very well, but i have been told that for better straight line stability the steering rack set (w/ the different toe settings) is awesome.

Anyone know where to get the best prices on Kyosho Ball diffs? I had one of my standard diffs go out on me, a while back, and some one gave me a used stock diff to get me down the road.

What brand of steering racks do you guys like? What are the best H-bars out there.

I need to get some more h-bars. I have been using the Carbon Fiber ones that I got from Integy, but I have managed to break 3 of them. The lightest weight ones are really worthless. I drove my car about a foot without the body on it, and broke a lightweight h-bar. I caught a wheel on a pipe at a track, and broke another one.

Default Ouch!

I went to go racing this day, at my favorite Mini-Z track in Camas, and the hobby store was out of business. Very sad. I had a lot of really fun times racing there.

Last time, I was getting my MR2 Spyder to really hook up, with my Megatech motors, and Megatech aluminum wheels, and Megatech rain tires. I was schooling the Porsche and Ferrari bodied cars. But no more. I need to find a new place to race.

Fortunately, I have three Mini-z cars and can have a racing party any time that I want to get together with friends. Took them on our youth retreat, here is a photo of some of the racing, and our temporary track layout.

How do the rest of you mini-z owners race?

If you dont mind calling you can call Maj's hobby shop. They have a huge selection in stock. http://www.majshobbyshop.com Maj is very knowledgeable when it comes down to Mini Z's and Heli's.

Thanks. Its pretty much a shelf queen now though. I ran it like twice and it was just too fast for any track so I can only use it in my school gym.
