I didn't mean cut out the whole wheel well Just trim what you need to give clearance. Your going to rub the top even with stock tires if your jumping or bashing off crazy sh!t...

I am running the Kyosho mini inferno wheels/tires (not the mini inferno ST, they are wider)They are the closest size to the stock wheels/tires in height and width, you need the mini inferno adapters to run them. Night and day difference in grip compared to the stockers.

Vendetta ST wheels
Mini Quake onroad tires
stock DTX foams only in the rear
Stock foams samiched with HPI 24mm hard foams in front

Handles like a dream onroad.

Pretty much any 2" or 1.9" onraod tire will fit. The Mini Quake split block tires will also fit the ST rims and are a little more suited to low-bite tracks.

A significant amount of tire/Wheels from HPI will work on the Mini Slash. The 10th scale road tires come in various compounds and they have a rally tire that has some deeper treads. I beleive they are all 12mm hex so no adapters needed. Check out the HPI Racing website

http://www.hpiracing.com/hpitires/touring/

I also understand that Tamiya has some tires that will work too. I am very interested in soft road tires for carpet.

haha yeah. it seemed like a good idea. It was fast if you feathered the throttle and it would do backflip after backflip but as far as over all drive ability it just wasn't there.

Hmm wish you did read the thread, since you would know this thread is only for 1/16 slash and I'm assuming from your pic that you are discussing putting those tires/wheels on a e-revo. Please only post about the 1/16 slash, there are plenty of threads e-revo's so post there.
