Default M18 cheap brushless question.

I`m not going to participate in races with it but will this combo work?

My guess it would because both are sensorless, but ESC is for 1/10. I just want to go cheap fun. Space in car is not an issue, but compability is.

Your links dont work. If your looking for a cheap 1/18th BL setup, is reccomend the Castle Sidewinder system. Only $102 on tower for ESC/motor http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXURX2&P=7

Thats a little low on the esc amp wise - the mamba 25 was 25 rated also, but Castle has said, it was really closer to 35 than 25. far as compatibility, don't know for sure, but would have the same guess.

What are you planning to run for batts?

My guess is you'd be ok running 2/3a pacs, specs say thats easy for the controller you're looking at.
