The factory team shocks are absolute RUBISH you can buy duratrax mini quake o-rings that will fit (are a little tight but after few runs come good) the shocks are also weak as. the do not support the weight equally on each side of the car.

I suggest doin what iv done with my rc18t and mounting touring car shocks, bit more expensive but a way better shock with more options which means a better performing car

Arrow shock o-rings

I had the same problem, but just built some AE FT shocks with integy 18T shock o-rings, they are the same size but made of silicone (should make for a smoother shock). I had a problem with the outside o-ring coming out the bottom shock cap because of the pressure when the shock is compresed, so i put the stock rubber o-ring on the outside and the integy on the inside and the shock seems smoother but time will tell. havent had the car on the track yet due to chassis problems. I also ordered the vendeta o-rings, they were too big and the recoil o-rings and they were to small. I am also looking for some silicone blatters but the more i look the closer i am to ordering the 3 racing shocks.
