On a serious note I do hope this event comes back this year. It really helped the micro scene a lot and brought some great competition year in year out. From the friendly atmosphere to the wheel to wheel.
There's no doubt it took a hit when the venue was moved from Pottbellies to RCExcitement - ...and mucho thanks for RCE for picking up when a venue was required. As well, I understand it takes a lot of work to put an event like this and Drew did a stellar job for many years.
It would be nice to have two east coast major events - one being Onroad Championship at RCMadness and hopefully another for the ECC.
Should the ECC fail to realize this year, it would be great for the group around Maryland to hold a large event (2-3 days) in the fall (pre-Xmas). I guess it's easy for me to say...much easier to suggest then to put together...however it appears as though you have a strong local support and this is key to holding an event.
Anyways, Maxime and myself are crossing our fingers, road trips for micro events are always on our schedule!

The 2008 ECC will be held at Kranzels RC in Lemoyne PA on Nov 8 and 9. This is one of the best 1/18th scale tracks in the country. This is the year you can not miss this race, one of a king off road carpet track.

Will this just be an carpet off road race or will there be on road racing also....
Might be hard moving the jumps.....Just wanting to know what to plan for seeing that race is just around the corner...

ECC
The classes are being worked out right now. This is how it is going down, Sat is the Off Road Classes and Sunday will be the On Road Classes. I like it better this way so you do not have to run around trying to get 8 cars ready to race. Everything should be set this week. It is going to be a great race.
