just got my 9 year old son a 18t any suggestions on parts to stock up on or things i should upgrade, hes not to skilled yet so no brushless yet

A simple upgrade is the RPM arms and shock towers, more durable than stock, proline tires will last longer than the stockers also.

A good supply of parts will keep you going and prevent downtime.

Spare shock towers
Spare Diff/Input gear set
Diff rebuild kit
Spare front bumper
Spare stock motor

less than $25 worth of parts

definately the derlin drag link and maybe a better servo. I think the weakest part of that car is the stearing. But i guess if you don't plan on racing then it doesn't really matter
