Compatible Comm Truers for 280 Mod Motors
Wes of Team Br00d was nice enough to attempt to true some micro comms for me. However, he has discovered all the truers he has are either too big (540) or too small (micro truer).
Can you all let me know which truers will work with
Trinity Mini Cobalt Comms
Reedy Mini Mod Comms
Thanks!

Hey Mini,
I cut mine with a regular COMM. I just have to adjust the lenght. I had to reduce the voltage at which I was cutting (below 3v around 2.5).
Same one pictured here:

The only problem is that you have to be carefull with the voltage . The rubber ring I have is a little too large and will tend to cause it to vibrate at too high speeds which just chews the COMM...The first COMM I used was destroyed. I then practiced on this one and another to get the hang of it. The clincher was lower voltage for me.

Thanks for the reply Pierre! So the Hudy will fit with a smaller o-ring? Darn, can't think of anyone local with one.
The ones I tired, the V spacing was not adjustable, and so the comm was barely on the v mounts per side, and would fall out after starting.
