The following is what most people run on their F1s on RCP

Kyosho 20 rear tire
Kyosho 30 front tire
Kyosho carbon side plates
alloy 1 degree toe in tie rod
alloy 1 degree camber
bearings
ball diff
Atomic dds mounted on stock motor mount( body trimming usually required to get it to work right

try the following sites to get parts for a mini z f1
http://www.atomicmods.com/
www.egrracing.com
shop.tinyrc.com
www.rckenon.com

If you can't find a part from any of those, theres always ebay

thanks for the info, i've also noticed most places are out of stock, have they stopped production?
also has their been any cases of people fitting super small servos in these? Im interested in redoing all the electrics, but wondering if its feasible to fit even the smallest of servos

for better electros, you might try to replace with an AD Band board and digital servo that they make for the MR-02.

It is made by Kyosho. It is a replacement board and servo, but it is FM, it comes with a double stack FET, and the steering servo is digital.

the Mini Z f1 series, at least i've heard that anyway. some sites still seem to have them in stock, but most popular places are sold out.
