Default MLST tires on RC18T??

Do MLST tires fit directly onto the RC18T without any modifications?

Also does anyone find the 18B wing mounts really flimsy? What is a better replacement? The vendetta ones?

I think its because they put alot of strain on the motor, I think if you try a bigger motor it might work, bigger as in physical size. I wanted to try it because Im turning my 18T into a truggy and the bigger wheels and wider width and diamete of the wheels would look awesome, but if its going to be a waste of money because the car will perform shit I wont do it.

Yeah I race at St.Ives

I use step pins, they seem to last 3 meets, I was told dirt hawgs are ok too but the 2 tracks are completely different. Losi make bowties that should be ok. I run the Crowd Pleazer 2.0 body, got it recently and painted it matching to my B4

I wanna try the MLST tires tho, they would complete my "truggy" design

What spur and pinion gear did you guys try with the MLST tires? I think the largest spur I have is 60 and smallest pinion I have is a 10 but I donít have a set of MLST tires to try. I think 60/10 is what is used in the RC18 MT.

I run 10/60 and 11/60 with TC tires and wheels. Using a Mamba 6800 with a 3 cell li-po but even with a 2 cell pack I wouldnít call it slow. I usually donít even bother to change the gearing when I switch to the 1/18th tires for offroading. The only real problem I have with the TC tires is that I have to constantly adjust my differentials. If I donít they start to slip before the tires do.

Anyway I donít know how large the MLST tires are but I am sure you can work it out with gearing.

My only objection to using the MLST tires is that they would put too much strain on the motor, therefore maybe burning the motor out or making the car too slow, but if they work it would be cool

Well, you won't be able to make it go fast. Also if you try to race it you will blow out you difs or the gear leading to it. I've tried it, it isn't worth it.
