Default Mounting a track, but no class decided yet ... HELP !

Guys,

Me and about 5-6 other friends want to start a mini/micro racing class in order to have fun during the week while we wait for our weekend to come ...

The thing is that we are just about to buy a track from http://www.rcp-tracks.com/ but we cant decide about the class we want to race.

Our choices are :

- Mini Z F1
- Mini Z AWD
- Mini Z 2WD (normal ones)
- Team Losi Micro T (since we are all offroaders)

The idea its to race a STOCK class, so based on this info, which you think its the best choice to get ? ... specially thinking on reliability/easy part support/$$$

thanks guys,

I would do a Mini-t track, you could do 2 classes then, Onroad and Onroad with jumps.

Unhappy

mini z s can be very addicting.....
stock 2 wd mini zs are fun and inexpensive. If you guys run Helios ex 10 tx s you can get the am module for the mini z and micro t.....
Run an onroad race w the zs and put obstacles on the track for the ts.....
What I saw with the rcp track and the micro t is the open wheels grab the rails......and the micro ts break.....

I would definately reccomend the 2wd MR-02. The MR-02 has plenty of parts support(pm me if you want me to reccomend vendors), affordable(check out ebay for new and used), and is much easier to tune than the MA-010. As mentioned earlier, a micro-t will tend to break suspension parts since it is open wheel

Heres what I think you guys should do.

Buy yourselves a couple sets of batteries. Some vendors on ebay actually sell Fuji cells(which pefrom great) in different quantites. you guys can find a certain quantity and split the price.

Do the same for two 15 minute chargers. You guys can share the chargers to keep costs down and the fast charger will always have a set ready when the ones in your car dump.

After that, buy some good tires and other suspension parts to tune your car.
