Vendetta ST or RC18t?

Good Stuff, eh?
The Vendetta rtr comes with lot's of good stuff, so it say's on the box.
CVD's & Alum' Knucles seem to be what most of us repair/replace 1st.
The Alum' prt's on the car are a bonus/pretty. But low grade alloy
they have never give me grief but, some have had to,,
maintain them in severe use. I want Graphite!!
The option of using fullsize servo and adj' Buggy chassis geometry
with the low 1/18 cost[$205.00 rtr + GougeScrewTax Edm,Cnd.]
sold me. Then I found myself using them to practice on new track's
B-4 I ran my EB4-S3 RBWS7II to a Championship Trophy!! cool
I was not satisfied with the stk esc, had allready learned with nitro's
that the absolute best eletronics you can get is Priceless! Allthough lot's
Race with it....
Mostley AE 18T/MT/B/R owner's who just had to find out why?!?
{snicker, snicker }
Team Straydog Race ya later

Vendetta ST
I am going with a Vendetta St , I just pre ordered a green one ..I did a lot of research and every where I searched it seemed the general consensous was either The Vendetta ST or the Rc18t .....I also went to a few local races and got to witness the vendetta buggy , rc18t , mini inferno along with a few others. I also got a chance to talk to a few of these drivers. The Vendetta I believe is the most rounded and most uprgradable of all these..The rc18t also looked like a very solid truck....But I believe that the Vendetta has the edge for what I'm looking for....I want to race mine and the vendetta seemed to handle a very large track (500') that was set up for 1/10 scale off road rc's....that being said for what I wanted I chose the vendetta for its versatility of upgradable parts and to be able to adapt to the larger tracks....I can't wait to get it!

great truck
I've had my Vendetta ST for a few weeks now, and I'm very impressed in the overall value.
In stock form, it didn't have 'mad rip', but descent top speed and handled great straight out of the box. I first upgraded the battery pack to a 6 cell Reedy pack, and this made a noticable difference.
Today, I upgraded more electronics - Airtronics 94761 servo, Airtronics F2000 ESC (these ROCK for minis) and Airtronics 92416 rx)...still using the stock motor.
Boy, does it have crazy rip now. I've used the Airtronics F2000 speed contol in many of my mini kits, and this typically is what adds the most performance. I also installed a set of rubber TC tires I had, for a bit of a 'Mini Super Motard' setup The stock mounting screws barely work for these 1:10 wheels, but I'm picking up some washers and slightly longer screws to secure these a bit better.
