Default Are 1/36 scales dead?

Hi, I'm a noob, have always been interested in micro scales since the 80s with the Tamtech. I've been looking at doing a modded Losi Micro T, but I've noticed that in the past few years there hasn't been much chatter, support, or new stuff for that, nor can I find any micro race places in the Los Angeles area..

So I get the feeling that anything smaller than 1/24 is going by the wayside, racing community wise. I know there's always going to be a market for solo bashers, but I'm interested in racing.

Also, any info on building a Micro T from scratch with updated parts (I've seen a youtube vid for it, but that was years ago) would be appreciated. I'm going for durability, ground clearance and run time...

Not sure that it is dead as they are still in production, however, like you, I definitely sense there is less interest. I just upgraded my mini t and love it. There is a huge thread for micros. Have a look.
