Roger,

Where did you get the wheel/tires for your 18R? Very nice looking ride!

Here's an updated one of mine, now sporting tc tires, and ft cvd's.

Thanks . The foam wheel/rim is made from BSR. The grooves on the foam is something I did on my tire truer for dirt oval applications.

I thought those were BSR foams. The grooves were confusing me. I have a set of those and I bet the grooves would make them bite better on asphalt too. Great idea!

The Bsr tires will wear very fast on asphalt with the grooves so be careful how far you groove them into the tire.

Talking My CRT.5

Here is a pic of my CRT.5.
I'm running an OS TZ.12 (P) on road motor and it is balistic.
It will keep up with a 1/8th scale on a smooth track no problems.
I am planning on getting another one and making it Brushless/Li-Po.

Thanks k_bojar. At my dirt oval track, there's like 15 of us. The top three guys are running RC18's while the remaining are running vendettas and losi sprint cars. I just added afew more items. I'll shoot some more photos later.
