The car is actually based off the old Kyosho Phantom 1/12th 4wd car. Yes, there used to be a 1/12th 4wd pan car (those of us who were around in the 80's should remember it). The designer who penned the MRS4 is the same one who did the Phantom. I've talked to the designer (when I was more active in racing) and he told me that the MRS4 was intended to be a car that was small and fun to drive, not a serious race machine.

1 point for the RS4 cuz, when hooby shops go out of buisness they can't sell what parts they have for that car, and end up giving them away. One day I walked out of a shop with 3 stock motors, and upper deck set and a front brace set. (god bless your soul RAIN)
