Dump the stocker twin frenzy 380's and grab yourself a Mamba 8000kv competition X kit and replace your wire connectors to Deans plugs you will only need one engine and if you set up the ESC right you should have no problems keeping up with a 3.3 TMAXX. Ive tryed it and i have been able to keep up to the MAXX on a 1/8 scale track with the mini LST.

Are you crazy? A Mamba 8k will cog. Get a 4200 or 5400. I know what your going to say.. "I use a 8K". Which I would reply there are always exceptions.

I just don't see how.. You saw the thread with someone using a m18 with a 8k that cogged until he got a quark? Or how most people using MI go to larger 300-400 size engines? I mean the MLST is so heavy, while the 8k is all rpms.

Just from my personal expeirence with the Mamba 8000kv, the Dynamite C4 9200kv and the Mini-LST. Both motors run just fine in the Mini-LST without any cogging. You can fine tune the settings for the Mamba ESC using your computer and the CC link. I have had no issues with either motor cogging in the Mini-LST. I have also been running a Mamba 8000kv in a Mini Inferno with no problems.

My friend loves the 9200 in his mlst. I guess the manufacturing company dynamite uses is different as I think I remember him mentioning poor performance when he tried mamba motors (or was it the esc?). Also, he uses a jwerks esc.

So the last thing i should get is the motor switch out of it. So which is the better motor for them money. I don't wanna rip a diff every time i run the truck. Is there any other mods i should look into before buy the motor, im not going to race it or anything it's to heavy for that now. Since i bought the rollcage and all.
